2024 Polestar 2 Overview
Polestar 2 is an electric vehicle produced in Sweden designed by Thomas Lngenlath and manufactured by Volvo Motors, after getting inspiration from Volvo p18. It has produced two electric performance vehicles Polestar 1 and 2024 Polestar 2. Polestar 1 was launched in 2017 and Polestar 2 was launched in 2019. Polestar underwent various changes and in 2023, it came out with newly designed hardware and high-performance large battery. These eco-friendly vehicles are highly liked by enthusiasts having well–spaced interior cabins, cargo areas, stylish designs, and efficient powertrains. It is available as single motor polestar and dual motor polestar. The latter one got vast popularity in the world.
Newly Designed Features of Polestar 2
The new Polestar introduced an all-wheel drive type coupe. Its engine is made up of silicon carbide which increases the production of power and its related torque also. It is an electric car that reduces the consumption of energy. It is equipped with DFV dampers for suitable driving in any type of environment. Polestar 2 electric vehicle with single motor generates power of 295 horsepower with torque 361lb/ft and with dual motor it can generate power of 416hp and torque 546lb/ft. Dual motor functions better than the single motor. It goes up to 60mph in 5.9sec. It has a 79KW/h battery that can charge 100 percent in approximately 45 minutes and can cover a distance of 320 miles.
Safety
The safety department equipped this vehicle with many protective instruments and it came out successful in NCAP safety ratings. The vehicle has radar sensors, rear cameras, and parking sensors to monitor the outside environment which can protect it from harmful crashes.
